In Chhapra, a man killed his own three brothers. The reason was simply that he was having a land dispute with his brothers. For this reason, he injured 6 family members by stabbing them. In this, his three real brothers died on the spot while 3 others were injured. The injured are being treated at Chhapra Sadar Hospital. This incident is of Gangwa Pachua village under Ekma police station area.

Here, there was a stir in the area after three deaths. There was a crowd of people around. As soon as the information was received here, the police reached the spot and took the dead bodies in possession and sent them for postmortem. The deceased have been identified as Rajeshwar Mahto (49), Swaminath Mahto (47) and Dinesh Mahto (44), residents of Gangwa village. While three people including Swami Nath Mahato’s son, Rajeshwar Mahato’s wife are injured.

Local people say that there was a dispute between the brothers late on Saturday night. The reason was that Lalu Mahato was having a dispute with his own brothers regarding land distribution. Lalu Mahato was building a house on the land without partition. His three brothers and nephews were opposing this. The dispute between the two started late in the night and soon turned into a bloody game. Relatives say that Lalu Mahato and his son together stabbed and injured 6 people. In this, three people died on the spot. On the other hand, the police say that the matter of death of 3 people is coming to the fore in the land dispute. Raids are being conducted in search of the accused. Some people are being questioned and further action is going on in the matter.
